Getters of LIFE: Emergent Ideas
When we do our research on Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs), a part of it is inductive - that is, we want to know research participants’ ideas, without any input from us. But we have ideas too, so part of our research is deductive - exploring whether our ideas make sense or not.
Here we outline the conceptual framework for our research, focusing on the importance of LIFE in PCEs - rather, the importance of Love, Identity, Fury, and Enjoyment in the co-creation of Positive Childhood Experiences as a buffer to childhood traumas (both individual / familial and societal / intergenerational).
We also provide a link to some of our favorite documents, ones that provide a sense of the core of who we are. Also a link to official organizational documents like a three-year report, budget and work overviews, and IRS Form 990-PF.

We think these are crucial for co-creating Positive Childhood Experiences. But we don’t really know if that’s true - or how, when, and why it happens.
